From pv magazine GermanySwiss PV manufacturer Meyer Burger has reported a preliminary 2024 EBITDA loss of CHF 210.4 million. In its preliminary financial results, it said its future is “highly uncertain,” dependent on new financing and the successful implementation of its business plan. The final annual report will be published by May 31, rather than April 15 as previously planned.

De pv magazine AlemaniaEn 2024, los fabricantes de panales solares JinkoSolar y Trina Solar informaron de que pruebas sobre el terreno demuestran que los módulos solares de contacto pasivado de óxido de túnel (TOPCon) superan a los módulos fotovoltaicos de contacto posterior de tipo p en la generación mensual de energía. Se trata de estudios que los fabricantes realizaron de manera individual, y en el caso de Jinko Solar, los resultados fueron confirmados por el organismo alemán TÜV Nord.

From pv magazine GermanyIn 2024, researchers at Fraunhofer ISE analyzed the stability of TOPCon, passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC), and heterojunction solar cells under UV irradiation and found that all three cell technologies can suffer significant losses in implied voltage and efficiency. Practical experience has confirmed this finding. With that in mind, other Fraunhofer ISE researchers assessed the validity of standard UV testing methods for TOPCon modules.

Le Borussia Dortmund (BVB) a récemment dévoilé son projet d’installer sur le toit du Signal Iduna Park le plus grand système photovoltaïque jamais conçu pour un stade. Pour mener à bien cette initiative, le club s’est associé à RWE et au constructeur chinois JA Solar, qui fournira pas moins de 11 000 panneaux entièrement noirs.
