Hilton Galveston Island Resort's multi-million-dollar renovation is complete. Fertitta Hospitality revealed this week the resort at 5400 Seawall Blvd. has upgraded its hotel guest rooms, restaurant, bar, pool deck, fitness center and public space with modern-style upgrades. A new version of an iconic sign will now welcome Houstonians and tourists as they land at William P. Hobby Airport. A "We Love Houston" sculpture was installed at Hobby this week and will be displayed to passengers all year long, according to a news release from the Houston Airport System. This sculpture designed by Texas artist David Adickes can be seen at the Arrivals curb on the airport's lower level. "People deserve something fun yet lasting to enjoy," said Adickes in a news release.
