(Image credit: Laptop Mag / Rael Hornby)Xbox cooking up a handheld gaming console became the best worst-kept secret in recent months, but the suspected and confirmed ROG Xbox Ally X was finally unveiled during the June 8 Xbox Games Showcase. At first, shoving "Xbox" in the name didn't sound so innovative. How does it compare to the Asus ROG Ally X? An Xbox button alone wouldn't be enough to get people to upgrade. The last thing I expected to wake up to this morning was over 30,000 players jumping to play one of the most hated AAA games in the past decade. If you don't already know, Star Wars Battlefront II is on sale on Steam for a measly $4. Clearly, that enticed some folks because the all-time high concurrent player count on Steam charts is over 35K, and that's just in the last 30 days. Previously, the peak was 10K. I've got to wonder, is the price really all that's driving players to Battlefront II?
