Chongqing—Chongqing is expanding its 2025 trade-in policies to boost consumer spending. Chongqing—On January 28, Chongqing launched a direct passenger route to Kuching, Malaysia. This is the only direct flight from the Chinese mainland to Kuching and the third direct route to Malaysia from Chongqing, after Kuala Lumpur and Penang. Malaysia's Firefly Airlines will operate the new route, which will operate one weekly flight using a Boeing 737 starting January 28.
