1. IntroductionConstruction costs have been increasing over time, typically from increased material costs [1], including 23 consecutive months of increased costs [2]. The majority of the cost increases over the past 70 years have been due to increased incomes and increased home prices [3], which is good for society but a limitation for the construction industry.
