A man allegedly with a green thumb and sticky fingers was arrested on June 10 over the theft of a number of potted plants, plant racks and flower pots in Yishun. The police said in a statement on June 11 that the 42-year-old man was arrested following reports from June 5 to 8 of potted plants being stolen at Block 418, Yishun Avenue 11. Officers from the Woodlands Police Division were able to identify the suspect using images and footages from police cameras and closed-circuit television cameras.

SINGAPORE - More than 1,000 malicious IP addresses in Singapore were taken down in a four-month Interpol-led operation involving law enforcement agencies in 26 countries. The joint operation – dubbed Operation Secure – was conducted between January and April 2025, and targeted a malware known as “infostealers”. According to Interpol, infostealers are tools for gaining unauthorised access to organisational networks.
