THE K@K COOK My month-long challenge to go vegetarian has turned into a lasting lifestyle change, bringing unexpected benefits such as improved digestion, clearer skin, and more energy. My brush with vegetarianism has not ended despite achieving my goal of cutting out meat consumption for the entirety of February. Going vegetarian is now a choice I am sticking to.  There have been a few changes in my body after depriving it of meat for a month.

THE K@K COOK After a month-long tomato-filled adventure (and a brief stint as a vegetarian), there were some surprising lessons learnt about the fruit (yes, tomatoes are technically a fruit). Here’s one final tomato-laden recipe: flavourful stuffed tomatoes. And just like that, the series of tomato-laden recipes has ended. My stash of decent-looking tomatoes acquired three weeks ago has diminished — barring the few that I have frozen because I plan to make tomato sauce.

THE K@K COOK I occasionally like to eat breakfast at supper time. It just tastes better at night. There’s no rush like in the morning, and it feels way more relaxing to enjoy eggs after dark. Does breakfast taste better when consumed during dinner time? I think so because — anecdotally — eggs, bacon, and pancakes tend to pack more flavour in the evening than in the morning. Bear with me, but here is why breakfast goes down much better in the evening.
