    Brazil's state-controlled Petrobras will supply natural gas to Rio Grande do Norte state distributor Potiguas on a contract indexed only to the US benchmark Henry Hub index. The oil and gas giant and the distributor signed two new natural gas supply contracts and revised a third deal, according to oil and gas regulator ANP. The revised contract made Potigas the second Brazilian distributor to sign a contract indexed only to US benchmark Henry Hub index.

Total production reached almost 158mn m³/d of gas in September, a 10pc increase from a year earlier and a 6.8pc rise from August.
