In my years as a fashion editor, I've learnt more than a few tricks and truths of the trade: clothing can always be altered, trends are fleeting and accessories are the items that can make the biggest difference to any look. It's no surprise to hear that editors at Who What Wear UK love shopping! Everything we try on for ourselves eventually makes it way into the stories and social content across all of our channels and we're really fussy about what we recommend to you, our dear readers. For me, a spring capsule wardrobe is all about three simple things: wearable, versatile staples that become base layers for all my outfits, comfort (I have no interest in wearing something too tight, too short, too see-through or made so poorly I’m left with a zipper sticking into my skin) and trending pieces that are still timeless. I rarely venture to south London but whenever I do I always notice it smells different. Not bad, not good. Just different.
