    The FNB Community Bank recently announced the promotion of Megan Kistler to Commercial Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President. Kistler is a graduate of Ramsey High School and then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Lindenwood University. Post graduation from Lindenwood, Megan started her only job after college at The FNB Community Bank and hasn’t looked back since.

    On Friday June 13, The Simple Room hosted theri 2025 banquet in their building for the first time. The event entitled Masterpiece in Motion; Hands & Hearts at Work. The event allowed donors and members of the community to come together to celebrate The Simple Room’s accomplishments for the year, and enjoy a wonderful dinner. Also present at the event was a painter, who created a “live painting” for The Simple Room. More details will be shared in a future edition of The Greenville Advocate.

    On June 12 the Greenville Public Library board held their annual meeting. At the beginning of the meeting the minutes of the May 8, 2025 board meeting, the May 6, 2025 Library Materials Committee Meeting, and the June 6, 2025 Finance Committee Meeting. The bills for the month of May 2025 were approved. The Library board voted to raise the cost of non-residents to $45, for new or re-newing patrons, beginning July 1, 2025. The fee had been $40 since 2013.

Koch is a 2016 graduate of Mulberry Grove High School and then graduated from Kaskaskia College in 2018 with an Associate’s degree in Ag Business & Animal Science. She then went on to Murray State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business in 2019, and in 2020 graduated with a Master’s in Ag Business with an emphasis in Marketing and Management.
