Portus Data Centers has announced the expansion of its Munich campus with a second facility, designed to support ultra-high-density workloads including AI and HPC, while offering industry-leading sustainability credentials. The new facility—Portus Data Centers Munich 2 (MUC2)—will add 2,200sqm of white space and an additional 5.5MW of IT load, bringing the campus’ total capacity to 7MW. Construction is already underway, with initial capacity expected to go live by late 2026.
