Hello everyone:When Heather and I lost our sweet old collie two and a half years ago, I put together this essay exploring what our relationships with pets might say about our larger relationship with the living world. Heather and I are still dogless (though we frequently talk about adopting another dog), and I think the writing here still speaks to the world we’re making amid the world we’re unmaking.
