Dr. Stephen Feig's mugshot is being released as part of the ongoing investigation. The Sarasota Police Department said Feig was the director of the Brain Wave Center located on South Washington Boulevard in Sarasota.

Big Cat Rescue, which was featured in the 2020 hit “Tiger King,” finalized the sale of 56 of its 67 acres on Dec. 24, 2024. According to Howard Baskin, husband of Carole Baskin, the site is being planned for townhome construction.

    Pull out your sweaters, Tampa Bay—it's time for a cold front. Starting Wednesday, ABC Action News meteorologist Greg Dee said we'll see highs in the 60s and 70s and a few showers. Thursday through Sunday, highs will then struggle to get out of the 60s (so be prepared to bundle up).     ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A student was hospitalized after she shot herself on a middle school bus in Pinellas County on Tuesday. The St. Petersburg Police Department said officers are investigating at 49th Street North and 18th Avenue, where twenty students were on the bus being taken to Tyrone Middle School when the incident occurred. Officers said the 13-year-old girl was the only one in possession of the gun, and no other students were involved or hurt.
