This man is a good coach but behaves so unprofessionally in every aspect of what he does. Overrated immensely in my view. Hard pass. Honestly, I really think the Nuggets will have a hard time coming up with a better coach than Malone. The roster construction is the issue.

I’m usually not very critical of Coach Malone, but it really feels like he’s lost this team. His words don’t seem to bear the same weight that they used to, basically everything is falling on deaf ears at this point. I’d officially consider him on the hot seat.

Why on earth was Booth offered an extension with such poor roster construction? Jokic having no help is the issue.

The Nuggets can spin this any way they want to, but this is nothing other than burning down a season that already had a match taken to it. They wasted one of the greatest individual seasons of all-time. The results would not be ANY different with another coach.

The treatment of Michael Malone is so disrespectful I’m not even sure what to say about it. If they waited after the season I wouldn’t like it but it would be much more understandable. It speaks to larger problem with NBA: players have all the power, often with poor results.

The Nuggets’ decisions that were made today and in particular the timing shows a level of dysfunction not seen since the pre-Jokic days. Malone was not the problem. I do think they failed miserably at taking advantage of Jokic’s prime, as poor roster moves offered no help.

First, what the hell? Second, why now? Timing is unprofessional and torches this season. If players weren’t listening to him, that’s on them, not the coach. What’s he supposed to say, keep up the good work? Jokic has ZERO help on the roster. NO coach can fix that.
