1. IntroductionSuboptimal management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) leads to irreversible joint destruction, function, and quality-of-life loss. It is widely accepted that effective treatment in the early stages can be the most beneficial [1,2,3,4,5]. Early access to treatment, however, requires early diagnosis.
