    Dee Dee Dale practically considers the Jim's Restaurants cowboy logo a member of the family. After all, it was her late father, Bob Dale, who first brought that beaming buckaroo to life more than 70 years ago.     At one point during San Antonio's first official Martin Luther King Jr. March in 1987, the Rev. Raymond Callies turned to his 27-year-old son and said, "Arlington, look behind you."The father and son stood near an East Side railroad underpass on what once was Nebraska Street. Just a decade prior it had been renamed Martin Luther King Drive in honor of the slain civil rights leader. The Callies had marched through the area in King's name since at least the late 1960s.

    The I-10 Icehouse on the Northwest Side rumbled to life with a side wall of more than a dozen neon-lit dart machines, as San Antonio electrician Miguel Garza fired off a trio of plastic-tipped darts at one of the dartboards. Two of the three darts hit the bull's-eye, each with a thunderous BOOM! from the game cabinet speakers, followed by a flash of the word "low ton" on screens above and below the target to mark the double hit and resultant score topping 100 points.

    It took a series of fortunate, downright divine events to bring the San Antonio romantic comedy "Say A Little Prayer" to the big screen. And it all started with a different project that showcased the city's rich heritage and history. "Prayer" writer and producer Nancy De Los Santos was hired to create a stage show at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center for the city's 2018 tricentennial.

The Alamo City proved it Tuesday with an exclusive advance screening of "Say a Little Prayer," the new Latina romantic comedy set and shot in San Antonio starring global music sensation Luis Fonsi, the multi-platinum artist behind the hit "Despacito."The film breaks wide Thanksgiving at select AMC Theatres.
