Communion is an important ordinance practiced by many Christians (it's one of the seven sacraments for Catholics). After all, it's a sacred reminder of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us. For the majority of churches, Communion is practiced once a month. However, some may do it weekly, bi-weekly or quarterly. The bread and wine served at Communion represent the body and blood of Christ (and if you're Catholic, you believe that they're the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ).

When searching for comfort, we typically look to comfort foods to fill our stomachs. But to gain true comfort, we should be feeding on something else entirely. Food for the soul! How do we do that? We consume the words of God and meditate on them. The more scriptures that you can memorize, the more empowered you will be when you encounter difficult situations. It's not just difficult situations that you need to be prepared for either.
