EUGENE, Ore. – KEZI 9 News Anchor Renee McCullough said she started having “the worst headaches of her life” when she was just a kid, but they got even worse before she suffered multiple strokes and a brain bleed on August 15, 2024. Doctors said it was the result of a disease called Moyamoya, a rare, chronic and progressive condition of the arteries in the brain that leads to narrowing and blockage of blood vessels. Moyamoya only affects about one in 1 million people in the United States.
