Background Prospective research is lacking on the utility of plucked hair outer root sheath direct immunofluorescence (ORS DIF) in the prediction of relapse in pemphigus vulgaris (PV) and the correlation of ORS DIF positivity with serum desmoglein antibody titers. Methods We performed a prospective cohort study enrolling 80 PV patients in complete clinical remission at a tertiary care center in North India.

Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) is an idiosyncratic severe cutaneous adverse reaction that may be potentially life-threatening. Recently, a simple scoring system for the early screening of DRESS patients was derived by combining hsCRP levels, the eosinophil count, and the total body surface area (CET score). The objectives of this study were validating the CET score, and calculating its lead time advantage and cost-benefits compared to RegiSCAR scoring.

Introduction VEXAS syndrome is a genetic multisystem autoinflammatory disorder presenting with varied cutaneous manifestations, relapsing polychondritis, hematological abnormalities, and systemic inflammation.1 Herein, we report a case of VEXAS syndrome presenting with different clinical morphologies at varying points of time.
