    Decellularized calfskins are a well-established skin substitute that retains the dermal tissue's spatial structure, facilitating skin regeneration, and is already available in the market. However, their mechanical properties can change with degradation, leading to tearing at the suture. Moreover, decellularized calfskins do not possess inherent antimicrobial abilities, which can lead to wound infection and further injury during the healing process.
