    SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was rescued by emergency crews after his vehicle rolled onto its side in Mission Bay. The incident was reported around 7 a.m. in the 1700 block of East Mission Bay Dr. near the Mission Bay Resort. When firefighters arrived, they found the truck on its side in the sand and the driver trapped underneath. He was rescued and taken to the hospital. According to witness reports, the truck was seen driving down a bike path before it ended up on its side.

(FOX 5/KUSI) — A downed power line in East County led to outages for hundreds of San Diego Gas & Electric customers, while several spot fires were reported near the area early Wednesday morning. Crews from Cal Fire, San Miguel Fire and Rescue and SDG&E responded to the area of Campo Road near westbound State Route 94 in Spring Valley around 5 a.m.Authorities said there were about three to five spot fires at the time.
