Systemic sclerosis is a rare rheumatic disease characterized by immune cell activation, tissue fibrosis, and endothelial dysfunction. Extracellular matrix synthesis disorder causes widespread fibrosis, primarily in skin and internal organs. Various factors such as TGFβ, VEGF, Galectin-3, and signaling pathways like Wnt/β-catenin are involved in pathophysiological processes. Treatment lacks a unified approach but combines diverse modalities tailored to disease subtype and progression.

Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is frequently associated with refractory chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), despite current treatments. Dupilumab demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of severe and uncontrolled CRSwNP, with improvements in patient-reported outcome measures and in objective measurements. This study aims to evaluate efficacy and safety of dupilumab in refractory CRSwNP in EGPA patients.

Referral of patients from dermatology to rheumatology practices due to psoriasis is unnecessary delayed. Many times musculoskeletal symptoms are the first reason for consultation. We aimed to estimate the proportion of ARP-PsA (arthralgia with risk to progression) defined by patients with arthralgia and the presence of psoriasis and/or a family history. Also, identify clinical, laboratory and imaging prognostic factors of PsA progression within the ARP-PsA group over a one year follow-up period.

Early (< 1 year) treatment-naïve RA/T2D patients (RA/T2D n = 16) were exploratory compared with age- and sex-matched RA patients without T2D (n = 16) among those enrolled in the Pathobiology of Early Arthritis Cohort (PEAC) [14]. The latter consists of consecutive patients with early treatment-naïve RA (disease duration < 1 year) recruited as part of a Medical Research Council–funded observational study.

This study quantified anti-PTX3 antibodies in the serum of seropositive and seronegative rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, examining their associations with disease activity and patient-reported outcomes (PROMs). In this cross-sectional study, RA patients diagnosed per ACR/EULAR 2010 criteria were recruited. Seronegative RA was defined as ACPA 2) had higher anti-PTX3 levels than those with controlled disease (SJC28 ≤ 2, PtGA ≤ 2; p= 0.048).
