Realized recently that for each job I've had since college, I lived in 2 communities (basically moved twice within the area) each time. Except for this one (though really it's a few jobs combined in 12 years), where I've lived in the same city but moved 3 times within that city.

Am I wrong for thinking that sharing/posting/watching the video of the Pennsylvania chocolate factory explosion is insensitive? What purpose does it serve (to average people, I mean -- I get investigators might have to watch it)?

Someone texted me using "Jesus" out of context when I was just trying to correct their know-it-all attitude; I guess they lost patience. My aunt (who died last week) would've replied, "someone needs to go to church!" LOL #RIP Sue.

I've said it before, and probably will say it again, are we making progress in terms of gender and race equality when we are pointing out the first Black or the second female (whatever)??? Was that why they were hired/awarded? Mentioning it feels sexist/racist and backhanded.

Cool, so on top of the standard stylebook, there's one my colleagues are deferring to now, and I'm wondering if it's hypothetical or mythical -- or is invisible (or actually written down somewhere)? I need proof or it's not acceptable. LOL. #journalism
