The first of June means time to start filling in your calendar of Pride parties, events and some movies — particularly under the night sky. In the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Rooftop Cinema Club (RCC) sits on the the terrace of the Worthington Renaissance Hotel. For the month of June, the film series celebrates Pride and invites guests to kick back and relax with popcorn, cocktails and bar fare while watching cult-classic movies amid skyline views.

The Turtle Creek Chorale announced Tuesday afternoon that Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter and producer David Fosterand singer, television and Broadway star Katharine McPhee will headline the fifth annual Rhapsody gala benefiting Turtle Creek Chorale whic returns to the Statler Hotel on Sept. 20. The announcement was first made at the Chorale’s 45th Anniversary Celebration at Gilley’s Dallas on May 17. This year’s Rhapsody gala chair is Dr. Whitney Strauss.
