1. IntroductionSince the first Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) case in December 2019, the pandemic has had catastrophic effects on global health [1,2,3]. As of March 2023, over 100 million confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States have resulted in over 1 million deaths, with approximately 13.3% of COVID-19 patients experiencing a post-COVID-19 condition one month or longer after infection [4,5].
