Danny Burns, the Irish singer-songwriter, now based in South Carolina, has announced the release of his latest album “Southern Sky” via Bonfire Recording Co on 22nd August 2025. The album is Burns’ third full-length album for Bonfire following on the heels of “North Country (2018) and “Promised Land” (2023). Between them came an EP “Hurricane” which came out in the Spring of 2021.

Jackson Dean will be playing a short run of UK dates in late April 2025. Speaking about the tour, Dean said: “I’m so excited to come back over the pond on tour. I hope that y’all are as crazy as you were last time. Please come help me sing ‘em and I’ll see y’all over there!”The tour dates will be Dean’s first shows in the UK since 2023, when he played his debut headline tour. He has also performed at The Long Road festival and at the inaugural Highways festival at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The Deep Dark Woods are returning with their first new music since 2024’s “Broadside Ballads Vol. III” and their first original song since 2021’s ‘Changing Faces’ (2021). They have also announced a string of dates in England and Wales. The Deep Dark Woods are now nearly two decades into their life as one of Canada’s most recognisable folk-roots ensembles. The voice of founding member Ryan Boldt sits at the forefront of the band, and whose vocal style specialises in subtlety and shading.

Ace Records has announced a country music tribute to Bruce Springsteen,“Springsteen’s Country”, to be released on 30th May 2025. The release has been compiled by Sean Rowley whose previous work includes ”Ladies Sing The Boss” (Ace, 2022) which featured the Patti Smith Group, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris and Bettye Lavette.

Musical legends Taj Mahal and Keb’ Mo aka TajMo have revived their historic collaboration between two generations of American music masters and announced “Room On The Porch”, a new full-length album out on 23rd May 2025 via Concord RecordsThe album is their first since their debut collaboration “TajMo” (2017)for which they earned the Best Contemporary Blues Grammy. “Room On The Porch” features ten songs with a focus on original co-written songs.
