Americana legend Rodney Crowell will release his 21st studio album, “Airline Highway”, on 29th August 2025 via New West Records. The 10-song set was produced by Tyler Bryant and recorded & mixed by Trina Shoemaker in New Orleans, Louisiana. The album follows his 2023 Grammy Award-nominated “The Chicago Sessions”. “Airline Highway” features contributions from young blues and country artists, all of whom count Crowell as a foundational influence.

A solid set of songs and performances in first for new label. “Worthy” is Anderson East’s fourth studio album and his first for new label Rounder. It appears just under four years since its predecessor, “Maybe We Never Die” (2021), but continues very much in the vein of East’s core Southern rock/pop/R&B sound. The album was co-produced by East and regular collaborator Dave Cobb. It was recorded at Cobb’s Studio in Savannah and then mixed by East in Nashville.

In September, Magnolia and Johnson Electric Co. will pay tribute to their work with the late Jason Molina and release a 7” single of ‘Wooden Heart’ b/w ‘Twenty Cycles To The Ground’, as well as perform four shows in Texas. Will Johnson is the Texas songwriter in Centro-matic, South San Gabriel, and a current member of the 400 Unit with Jason Isbell.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Caroline Spence has announced the release of her fifth album, “Heart Go Wild”, on 29th August 2025. Spence is a serial collaborator, having been joined on her songs over the years by artists such as Emmylou Harris, Matt Berninger of The National, Sarah Jarosz and Lori McKenna. She loves writing with other artists for their projects as well as with producers for film and TV opportunities.
