A woman has died after being stabbed in a Huyton tower block. Police were called to Knowsley Heights at around 10.30pm on Tuesday after receiving a report the woman in her 30s had been stabbed inside a flat. Officers attended and gave the victim first aid until paramedics arrived. She was taken to hospital but sadly died from her injuries. Following initial inquiries, a 34-year-old man from Litherland has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
