As the season sponsor of the Bremerton Westsound Symphony, I was immensely proud of their performance over the weekend at the Central Kitsap Performing Arts Center. When one considers that the orchestra and chorale members are all volunteers, it makes their performances even more outstanding!The solo pianist, Jinshil Yi, made the performance even more spectacular. She is the greatest pianist that I have ever heard.

We wholeheartedly agree with the recent letter to the editor reporting the littered roads in Kitsap County! Our Kitsap Airporter drivers report that this junky condition exists on most of the roadways that they travel between Poulsbo and Sea-Tac, 20 times each day! All safe drivers must be continually alert to all of those crazy drivers and pedestrians on our roadways, let alone the trash.

They are called monetary and fiscal policies. When implementing monetary policy the Federal Reserve Board implements increases in the interest rates to help curb consumer spending. The Congress, in turn reduces government spending, and it’s called fiscal policy, which also reduces the nations money supply.
