    Fox Harb’r Resort in Nova Scotia, Canada, has unveiled its reimagined Ocean course. The revamped Ocean course is part of a plan, developed by Doug Carrick and Tom McBroom, to create two distinct 18-hole layouts. Work on the Ocean course includes nine new holes and reshaping the existing nine. The second layout, Vineyard, will be made in a similar fashion.     Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland has appointed King Collins Dormer Golf Course Design (KCD) to develop a masterplan, the firm’s first project in the UK. The club's investments in its golf and facilities include a new £13.9 million clubhouse that will open next year beside the first tee of the championship course, and it has also secured 50 acres of land next to its Struie course.

    On a thin stretch of swamp land, just a few hundred metres from the Atlantic Ocean, Benin’s first 18-hole golf course is taking shape. The project was established following a directive from Benin’s president Patrice Talon to diversify the country’s economy – which is highly reliant on agriculture, particularly cotton – by developing industries such as tourism, banking and services.

    Giulia Ferroni of Leeds Golf Design is at the halfway point of a 10-year renovation project at Cirencester Golf Club in Gloucestershire, England. Work began in 2020 once Ferroni had completed her masterplan. “The renovation was driven by a desire to modernise a golf course that had become a little tired, while also creating more interest, particularly around greens,” said general manager Leighton Walker.

    Dumbarnie Links on the south coast of Fife, Scotland, has reopened for the 2025 season with a redesigned tenth hole. The course, designed by Clive Clark, is located on the Balcarres Estate around 12 miles south of St Andrews, and opened in 2020. Work has been competed between winter 2024 and spring 2025 on the tenth hole, a par four that can be played from 356 to 524 yards. The focus of work was to fill in a burn that crossed the fairway.
