For her valiant efforts, she was recognized by President Trump during the 2018 State of the Union address. Leppert has dedicated her life to her country, serving as an aviation electronics technician in the United States Coast Guard. Last year, she rescued dozens of Americans imperiled during the devastating hurricane season.

I found out that that is the correct term - but yeah, I was one pound and 10 ounces at birth, and I had mild cerebral palsy and some developmental delays, which when I was younger, that was kind of a battle.
