We are five months into 2025, and it has been an excellent year for television. The Last of Us Season 2, Severance Season 2, Andor Season 2, White Lotus Season 3, The Righteous Gemstones' final season, The Studio Season 1, and Adolescence are all vying for the title of best series of the year. Yet with all due respect, with how great those series are, the best show of 2025 is The Rehearsal Season 2. Debuting in July 2022 on HBO, The Rehearsal is a docu-series starring Nathan Fielder.

Avengers: Doomsday is less than a year away, and following the positive reaction to Thunderbolts* and excitement for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel Studios has seemingly gotten fans back on board and ready for what promises to be the ultimate Marvel alliance—or Marvel's Ultimate Alliance, if you will. Seth Rogen's AppleTV series The Studio is getting rave reviews for its critical take-down and commentary on modern Hollywood, and it's hard not to notice that Catherine O'Hara's character has a lot of similarities to former Sony Studios executive and new steward of the James Bond franchise, Amy Pascal. I really loved #Thunderbolts! Much more than just “Marvel’s Suicide Squad.” While it is fun summer blockbuster with some great laughs, it is a more emotionally dark than I was expecting. A movie about how despair grows in darkness, and light comes from realizing we aren’t alone. https://t.co/ggIrxbxBbf

Just because you only post for engagement (you are more likely to be shilling negative engagement because you know it’s profitable) doesn’t mean we all do. Some of us just you know, like stuff. But I’m going to live my life and not care what someone thinks about a princess movie.
