PM UNDER DEFENCE PRESSURE AS COX DEFECTSAmid the continuing clamour for increased defence spending as demanded by the US, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese yesterday chose to focus on the defection of Western Australian Senator Dorinda Cox from the Greens ahead of his cabinet meeting in Perth today. Albanese and Cox held a press conference in the WA capital on Monday after the latter gave her former boss, new Greens leader Larissa Waters, just 90 minutes’ warning.
