    Dear Richard,Our beloved chocolate labrador bitch is generally well-behaved and affectionate but she has one anti-social habit, which is "mounting" other dogs, people's legs, soft toys and even furniture. We were surprised to learn that female dogs sometimes do this and, having looked further into it, we think it's a simple expression of excitement and nothing to worry about unless a larger dog mistakes it for an assertion of dominance and attacks her.

    Dear Richard,Five months and 28 days ago my lovely wife Christine died from cancer. She was only 63; we were married for 42 years.     Dear Richard,For about six months last year I often used ChatGPT to write reports and press releases at work. I'd give the resulting prose a read and a light edit before sending it on, but I was snowed under and I felt as if I had no choice. Now senior management has explicitly banned the use of AI software, after issues with accuracy. The trouble is, I've had a couple of pieces of work sent back for being too "quirky" - the bland AI prose was what the bosses require, it seems.
