PYLESVILLE, Md. — A school bus ride years ago led two local kids to become friends, eventually get married, and establish a farming operation of grain crops and custom work as well as cheese production and farm tours. Mary and Greg Stewart established Fawn View Farm in 2011. Today, the farm includes about 1,500 acres, both leased and owned land. About half of the farm is in Harford County, Md. with the other half in York County, Pa.Much of the acreage is used to grow soybeans, corn, and sorghum.
