This year saw the world's toughest downhill race, Red Bull Hardline, expand from its origins in west Wales to the island state of Tasmania off the Australian mainland. It has now just been confirmed the Tasmania incarnation of Hardline will return in 2025. Hardline Tasmania will once again take place at Maydena Bike Park, the competition dates for 2025 are February 7th and 8th. Another one to mark on your calendar is November 10th, as that's when spectator tickets will go on sale from redbull.com.

YT has just revealed an all-new version of its Decoy electric mountain bike. But rather than being a full-power model like the previous incarnation, the Decoy SN is a lighter-weight model with a Fazua Ride 60 motor – a big change from the Shimano-equipped models that came before. Unsurprisingly, the new chassis is longer and has more up-to-date geometry than the previous version (originally released in 2019), but rear travel is reduced to 160mm (from 165mm), complemented by a 170mm fork up front.

Schwalbe has just launched Clik Valve, a new push-on inflation system for tires that claims a 50 percent higher air flow rate than existing Presta and Schrader valve systems and reduced air loss. Clik Valve kits consist of valve cores that screw into existing valve stems, and pump head converters that are designed to fit pumps with removable inserts.
