Negative NHS work culture and expectationsFear and bullying were highlighted as negative experiences when describing the culture of the NHS and being an HCW. Texters reported feeling fear; they felt unable to make mistakes in their roles or ask for help without fearing ‘consequences’ from management. Experiences of bullying described by HCWs included inappropriate behaviour by both management and peers. In these instances, HCWs felt like there was no accountability for those who behaved poorly.
