UC Santa Cruz’s police department and Title IX Office are investigating reports of voyeurism in three residential buildings on campus, incidents possibly linked to earlier burglary reports. On Tuesday, the agencies received reports of three violations of California’s “Peeping Tom” law in three residential buildings: Stevenson College, Building 2, and John R. Lewis College, Buildings 2 and 4.

Back in the Nixon era, a Canadian named Byron MacGregor recorded a spoken-word news commentary called “The Americans,” about how goll-darn generous and self-sacrificing we Yanks are (different generation of Yanks, to be sure).
