WESTBOROUGH — A two-story house on McTaggart Street was heavily damaged by fire. The Fire Department responded shortly before 3 p.m. on April 15. When crews arrived, flames could be seen on both floors, with the roof starting to give in, according to Fire Chief Patrick Purcell. The lone occupant of the house was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, the chief said. The blaze, at 6 McTaggart St., eventually went to two alarms.
