The show, written by Paul Slade Smith, features two cops, three crooks, and eight doors in a motel. The show is a comedy of errors in which the two cops attempt to catch the embezzling mayor red-handed. The comedy aspect is one of the major reasons why Director Lindey Krug was attracted to this play. “It’s pretty fast-paced, and it’s hysterical,” she said. “That’s pretty much what drove me to it. I know the Fort Dodge audience likes a good comedy, and when I was reading it, I was laughing out loud.
