Jana Mila is a confident and self-possessed songwriter with a knack for hooks and relatable lyrics, which is pretty impressive for a 26 year-old native of Amsterdam. She conquered Nashville on a two week working vacation to work with producer Todd Lombardo (Kacey Musgraves) and her appearance in 1A was her first time in Texas. Her performance features some sparks of joy from a young artist who is seeing the music world with fresh eyes—you can hear it in her voice and see it on her face.
