Bravely Default stands out as an exceptional RPG on a system that had no shortage. Released on the 3DS in 2012, it was something of a “return to form” for Square Enix, taking plenty of inspiration from classic Final Fantasy titles in terms of structure, story beats, and its job system. What set it apart was its battle system, letting you store or spend actions to subvert turns, as well as some novel StreetPass usage and high production values for the handheld.

Chapters 3 and 4 of the Undertale companion game will finally arrive on June 5th, joining the first two free chapters already available on Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 4.
