Exploring the Synergistic Effect of Aggregation and Hydrogen Bonding: Fluorescent Probe for Dual sensing of Phytic Acid and Uric Acid We synthesized an unoxidized bis-indolyl methane (BIM) derivative (probe 1) comprising tеtraphеnylеthylеnе (TPE) as the signalling moiety. The amphiphilic probe could form self-assembled nanoscopic aggregates in the aqueous medium.

Fernandes and Nilanjan Dey Abstract A rhodamine based optical probe has been designed through one pot synthetic protocol involving phenanthroline as a binding motif. The compound showed a bright pink coloration specifically upon addition of Cu2+ and Hg2+ ion.
