    A taste of what's to come in season 2025 will be on display during the next few months, as trials kick off across the state for the Queensland Rugby League's statewide competitions. With Round 1 for the four junior competitions - Mal Meninga Cup, Harvey Norman Under 19, Cyril Connell Cup and Harvey Norman Under 17 - running across the weekends of Saturday, February 8 and Saturday, February 15, trials have already begun and will run through to the same weekend.
