Chiang Mai, the quaint city of Northern Thailand, with its mountainous terrain and temple complexes, usually evokes images of lush rolling hills, herds of elephants, and gorgeous wats (temples) tucked away in serene gardens. This was the image I had in my mind until last August, when I stumbled upon Lucklub, an Insta-worthy Airbnb located around 7 km away from the main town of Chiang Mai.

Can you believe it’s already December? Feels like just yesterday when I was witnessing the magic of Coldplay in Singapore, singing “Lights Will Guide You Home” with 60,004 other voices - yeah, Chris Martin actually gave that count (60,000 audience plus 4 band members!)!!But that was back in January! If life were a book, 2024 would be filled with some beautiful, soul-stirring chapters. Scrolling through my Google Photos before sitting down to write this, I was smiling from ear to ear.

"Every good thing in this world starts with a dream. So hold on to yours."On my flight back from Seoul to New Delhi, I was watching Wonka, and this line struck a chord. It resonated deeply — something I’ve always believed in, something that shows the true power of manifestation. Deep down, I know each one of us carries dreams like Willy's, and as he found his way to build his chocolate factory, we too have the potential to bring our dreams to life.

My Instagram feed is filled with ‘September Dump’ posts already, and I consumed too much of it, to break free from that! I’ve spent the last hour and a half reflecting on how to bring all my thoughts together for this newsletter. Well, I would like to begin by saying THANK YOU! From thinking, “Why would anyone even want to read my newsletter?” to now having 167 views and 22 subscribers, it’s been quite the journey in just a month.

If I had to pick my favorite place in Egypt, that would be Luxor. It felt like the town had an old soul, where life moved at its own unhurried pace. The soft sound of the azaan filled the air, drifting across the Nile and through the quiet streets, calling everyone to pause. https://t.co/UAjfBTJqKS
