Building capacity for renewable energy projects is a keypriority for the current British Columbia government and they haverecently announced that they will introduce newlegislation for renewable energy projects in the spring of 2025. Ifpassed, the legislation will expand the authority of the BritishColumbia Energy Regulator (BCER) to oversee renewable energyprojects, such as wind and solar.
