The new Odyssey Chipper is designed to help amateurs get up and down more easily. Odyssey know their stuff when it comes to putters, having created some of the best putters in the game since 1991. The No.1 putter brand on tour, they dominate the putter counts at events week in week out and won almost double the number of events over the nearest competitor last season… including two majors thanks to Xander Schauffele. But it’s not just on tour.

The world’s four best players are among the 22 golfers who have reached the weekend at the year’s first three Grand Slam events. Of those, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy each have a major victory to their names, while Xander Schauffele has extended his incredible run of consecutive made cuts to 66, and Colin Morikawa has played the weekend at the opening three for the fifth year in a row.

We love numbers here at TG. We also love history, so we’ve combined the two to work out who will win the year’s third major with 18 holes now in the books. Yes, we know, we got it wrong at The Masters as Rory McIlroy bucked the historic trends to complete the Career Grand Slam. Still, our math didn’t rule Scottie Scheffler out after the opening round of the PGA Championship, and look what happened there, so we’re aiming for two from three with our Oakmont analysis.
