I don’t know how much you think about sharks but I used to think I think about sharks the regular amount. Which is to say: I don’t think about sharks. Unless I’m at a natural history museum. Or the aquarium. Or I’m near a three-year-old singing “Baby Shark”. Or I happen to be rewatching Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws”. Other than that, I don’t think about sharks. I don’t dream about sharks. I don’t day dream about sharks. I don’t have nightmares about sharks.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley had a confrontation with Indiana Pacers fans seated behind the Bucks bench. Beverley appeared to throw a basketball at the fans twice as Milwaukee was wrapping up a season-ending loss in Indiana.
Beverley took to Twitter/X after the game to post "Not Fair at all. Exchanged between a fan and our ball club all night. We warned and asked for help all night. Not fair."
The NBA has regularly fined players for throwing items, including balls, into the stands.

Many people say I make words look easy. That’s very kind. But the truth is, I work hard to make words look easy. Sometimes words are quite hard, thinking of words, writing words, rewriting words, nudging words, cutting words, polishing words. Then, at some point, a deadline forces you to loose these words into the world. That’s why, when the occasion is appropriate, I partake in someone else’s words. Now it’s a bit tricky, see. Because plagiarism is frowned upon.

According to one famous Christmas song that is for some reason named, “The Christmas Song”, the season is long on chestnuts, Jack Frost, yuletide carols, and, for some reason, though I’ve personally never seen it myself, folks dressed up like Eskimos. Setting aside theoretical folks impersonating the dress of the indigenous people of the Arctic regions, the holiday season is indeed filled with tradition, new and old.

This time of year, many conspicuous characters abound. These figures loom so large in the public consciousness that often a single name will suffice to identify them: Rudolph; Frosty; Tiny. One individual can even be identified with one name several times over: Nick. Kris. Father. Santa. These characters might well have a place in the world forever but for my money, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without The Grinch. There is a lot to love about the Grinch.
