Fans have noticed the #NJDevils Facebook page making events on 4/25 and 4/27. Still speculation, but this might mean Carolina hosts Games 1 and 2 on 4/21 and 4/23. Also events for 5/1 and 5/2, which could be a date for Game 6 in Newark and maybe a watch party for Game 7.

The last time the #NJDevils reached the playoffs twice in three seasons, it included reaching the Stanley Cup Final in 2012 along with a first round exit in 2010.

The #NJDevils are officially a playoff team. Despite the attitudes of some throughout this year, they were never not in playoff position at any point in the season. A first round matchup with Carolina has been all but assured for a while.
