Family, Friends, Colleagues,I was gifted this week an incredible book: One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This, by Omar El Akkad. As you will read below I am truly touched, humbled, and enlightened by his work and I place it alongside Rashid Khalidi's The Hundred Years' War on Palestine as essential reading not just about Palestine, not just about the Other, but about ourselves. It has informed and inspired my work this week. I feel blessed and grateful.

Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Fellow Resisters,I have seen No Other Land, an extraordinarily courageous and provocative Academy Award-winning movie chosen just weeks ago as Best Documentary Feature at the 97th Academy Awards. It had a short run in Epping NH and I took an afternoon off to watch it. In spite of its compelling narrative, international and domestic awards, and critical acclaim - and Oscars - it has yet to acquire a national distributor, so one has to make an effort to see it.

Good Morning Family, Friends, Colleagues, It's Palm Sunday. The most beautiful Christian service I ever witnessed was, years ago, in Cambridge, MA within the walls of The Society of Saint John the Evangelist, a small Episcopal monastery astride the banks of the Charles River. It was there I was welcomed into the service of Tenebrae, a Service of Shadows, which happens once a year during the final part of Christian Holy Week.

Family, Friends, and Colleagues,Eid Mubarak!I wish everyone who is able to celebrate this blessed holiday of Eid al-Fitr a Happy Eid Mubarak! As we together celebrate this blessed time let us not forget or neglect those for whom no such celebration is possible, such as those enduring genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced starvation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and in all other places of oppression and dispossession - including here in the United States.

Good Morning Family, Friends, Colleagues,I just want to share a few thoughts as Eid Al-Fitr, the feast day celebrated by Muslims marking the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Salamaat,Robert“Islam is a death cult.”Some years ago I saw those words, painted on a rough wooden sign, posted on Mountain Road in Jaffrey, NH.

Dear Family, Friends, Colleagues, and all Loved Ones,The racist, bigoted, unconstitutional, unjustifiable, - and still unfathomable - attack on Mahmoud Khalil and his family is cruel almost beyond words. My response is below - I find no other words. Salamaat,RobertThere are times when current events appear to me so evil-minded and dangerous that staying silent would make me feel complicit with their intent. Writing about such issues then becomes an imperative. This is one of those times.
