It’s safe to say they accomplished that mission in just about the most dramatic way possible, completing the sweep of South Carolina with one of the more improbably 9th inning comebacks you’ll ever see. Game 1: The Aggies got a grand slam by Blake Binderup to take control of the game, 6-3, through three innings.

The team’s series at Tennessee began in depressing fashion, as A&M got no-hit and run-ruled on Friday night. Pretty much the worst way to start a series, and A&M fell to a miserable 1-9 in SEC play.

According to multiple sources on Friday evening, the Aggies will hire Samford’s Bucky McMillan to lead the basketball program. Texas A&M is set to hire Samford coach Bucky McMillan as the school’s next men’s basketball coach, sources tell me and @jeffborzello. The sides are finalizing a five-year deal, per sources.
